Welcome to Edwin's Heirlooms, our small business has big aspirations to provide families with timeless wooden toys, home decor, and home accessories. Edwin is a retired Navy grandfather of eight, and great-grandfather of six. After his service he settled down as a kennel operator and began to use his love of woodworking to create special gifts for his children and children's children. I have many fond memories of these toys, as well as various home decor pieces that he would find templates for in magazines. With this business I aim to provide a legacy to him and other woodworkers who provided us a very special childhood with the work of their hands. Our products are inspired by those designs that have been passed down for generations, and we aim to give them life for many more. An heirloom is something that brings rememberance to it and has the quality to preserve it for many years, and that is the goal for everything we make, as if I was making these products for my own children and children's chldren.
